we are about to sail on Carnival Inspiration June 14th for the first time, we will be with our children and grandchildren(their 2nd)...My wife will use a scooter for mobility...Is it difficult to get to ship locations on a scooter or wheelchair?

A lot use scooters. You will have the same issues anyone with mobility has, like my sister. We have to wait for the elevators, which sometimes can be frustrating, especially after the safety drill, when the whole ship is also waiting, or after the shows in the theater, sometimes you have to wait a long time.

It will be fine I have taken my mother in law with a scotter meny times no problem

Somewhere on here are threads about disabled travelers. You will find tons of great info there! but yes, I see many people in scooters and they seem to have no problems except for the elevators, and then it is very seldom that I have seen lines.

A high percentage of cruisers are in scooters, the ships were built for them it seems.

You'll be fine. There are many folks on scooters and call CCL customer service and they'll be able to assign table arrangements that are convienient for dinner too.

Carnival is well aware that many folks need to use scooters. Just hope that coourtesy will prevail at the elevators.

You'll be good...just make sure if her mobility issues are significant that you get a handicap room.
