Room Safe

We used a Wal-mart gift card that had not been activated. We used one that was all silver mylar, so it was easy to identify as our safe "key." I understand that the Freedom safes use the magnetized cards.

I have used my credit cards or my debit card without ill effect. Somewhere up the cyber-network there is some point at which someone bent on stealing your number could do so from this practice, but it is so unlikely that it is not something I would even consider. I do carry an old card to use as a safe card, though.

I use land casino cards, that way everyone in the cabin with me can have a card since they have a same magnetic strip. No lookin for cabin mate to open safe.

I was going to ask if land casino player's cards worked, but you answered that. How are you able to use mutiple cards? I have a few cards but not sure if they are from the same casino. Probably could round up a couple of the same ones....
