We had our CC Roll Call meet & greet in Skywalkers from 1:00-2:00. To our disappointment, NOT ONE of the ship's officers or crew made any appearances, but no one even mentioned it.

Had your Roll Call sent invitations to the ship's personnel?

I assume this was the M&G your roll call organized, not one that Princess set up on its own.

Good morning everyone,

Still having a great time on the beautiful Emerald Princess. Sorry that there was no LIVE post yesterday. Although it was a sea day, we were pretty busy all day. We spent the morning in the Terrace Pool (which is aft on our deck) where we met some very nice people. We had our CC Roll Call meet & greet in Skywalkers from 1:00-2:00. It was fun to meet and “hang out” with everyone. We had a few drinks, talked and had a great time! To our disappointment, NOT ONE of the ship's officers or crew made any appearances, but no one even mentioned it. We had a great anyway!! My mom and sister went to the shopping demonstration and got the shopping “book” (for $25.00) that includes coupons and stuff. So I guess we'll see how good they are when we go into St. Maarten this morning. For the rest of the day we explored and just hung out until it was time to get ready for dinner. Last night was formal night so we got all dressed up and took formal pictures. Anita & I spent a little time in the casino before calling it a night.

I can see land now as we are just getting to St. Maarten! It looks like there will be one other ship in port with us. It's a good thing that we rented a car here today because my sister is all excited to go all around the island redeeming her “free” gifts and using the coupons from the book (which she just told me is good for all ports).

Ok...time to have breakfast and get ready to enjoy this beautiful day on St. Maarten! Check back later folks...

Thanks for the post. Sounds like you had a great day.....:):):)

Please, don't apologize. You are there to have fun - never mind the rest of us who are hanging on your every word - LOL!;)

We rented a very small SUV for the six of us in St. Martin in 2005. It was the best day - great way to see the island.:D

Just cruised the Emerald 6/6-6/13 2010. Here's the Power Hour Menu

Bruce;

I know it's not listed, but is Bass ale included? Since Princess doesn't sell Sam Adams, Bass is my beer of choice when I cruise Princess.....

Good evening everyone,

Had a great day in St. Maarten/St. Martin! We rented a car for the day. The plan was to pick up the car, shop for a bit, go to 2 beaches (Maho & Orient), then maybe lunch then head back to the ship. Sounds like a pretty good plan right? NOT...lol! After picking up the car, we headed to Front St. in Phillipsburg for the shopping portion of our day. My mom & sister had attended the shopping seminar yesterday and had tons of coupons that they wanted to redeem for “free” gifts. And my mom was looking to buy a new camera. We ended up spending the whole day shopping! Mom got a great deal on a very nice Nikon digital camera and, to my surprise, my sister actually got most of the redeemable items on her list! It was an absolutely beautiful day (although very hot) and we had an awesome time. We did stop at the beach (I forget the name of it) for a short time before heading back to drop off the car. We were having so much fun that we totally forgot about lunch but we did make a stop at the GuavaBerry Emporium and had the most delicious drinks! We even bought some liqueur and rum from that place...FANTASTIC!!

We got back to the ship around 4:30 and that's when we realized that WE WERE STARVING! LOL! We really hadn't eaten anything since breakfast and although we drank plenty of water throughout the day, we were all famished and needed something to eat! After taking quick showers, we headed to Cafe

Caribe for an early dinner. Tonight was Bavarian Bierfest so of course, the food on the buffet had a German theme. Either we were really hungry, or it was really delicious! Either way, we really enjoyed our dinner.

Thanks to everyone reading our Live posts. Reading threads like this really helped the time go by faster for us before our cruise and we want to do the same for others.

We're just resting a bit now as tonight is the ISLAND DECK PARTY!! It starts and 10:30 so we're off for a little nap from now til then. Tell you all about it later...

Good evening everyone,

Well this is our last LIVE post from the beautiful Emerald Princess! We just returned from dinner in the Davinci dining room. The service there was AWESOME all week! Our waiters, as well as the head waiter, were excellent. We gave them special envelopes to show our appreciation as well as the others that showed exceptional service.

We want to extend our gratitude to all of you that are following our LIVE thread. We will be writing a detailed review with photos, so if you're interested, keep following...
