Average July Temperature in Bar Harbor

There is an average temperature table here: http://www.acadia.national-park.com/weather.htm

When I visit in late June, I'm wearing a shirt & shorts. I have handy a windbreaker or a sweatshirt but I only wear them at the top of Cadillac Mountain on a damp foggy morning or waiting for the thunder at Thunder Hole on a damp foggy windy morning.

July is usually a lovely month, not as muggy as August. I think Sailbad has given a good answer. I would take a sweatshirt "just in case" .... or better yet stop in one of the stores in Bar Harbor and pick up a lovely souvenier to wear. http://www.coolasamoose.com/

John - Not to hijack this thread - but when you go to MDI in June do you go to HR in SW? Jan

Thanks for the link. Guess a light jacket is needed at Acadia. Just don't want to carry it around when touring the city.
