Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Balcony View - Double height and very unobstructed Balcony Size? - Large (I don't know how it compares to similar classes as first cruise) Was wind a problem? - No. Balconies are very sheltered. Was warm and wind free even on the windiest of days. Any specific problems with this cabin? - No Any other comments? - Private swipe access makes the area very secure. I'd try to avoid the lifts around main meal times as windjammer one floor below causes some congestion. A much nicer route if go down one level and walk across the top main deck of the ship (Exercise and a pleasant view at the same time)

Great viewing of AquaTheater movie and performances. Picture below Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal I think. Had two chairs and a little table Was wind a problem? - No If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - No Any specific problems with this cabin? - None. Some may have issues with cabins directly across but just closing the sheer curtain during the day was enough and the heavy curtains at night if you are going to keep your light on. If RCCL is going to use the centrum as a primary entertainment venue they should build sound wall at the entrance to the cabins. When the band was playing, you could hear it a little, but they stopped promptly at 11pm each night. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? -yes Any specific problems with this cabin? - the toilet had a slight raw sewage smell, as did the public bathrooms around the ship. Our stateroom attendant did what he could to alleviate this, and it did help some, but didn't eliminate the problem entirely. Also, the mattress was horrible, and needed replacing badly. (With comments on problems) –We experienced some noise from WJ above early mornings. We could also hear the faint sounds from the band playing on the pool deck between 2pm-4pm. All in all this was no big deal for us and I regard this as a quiet cabin Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – The only obstruction to the water below was the "roof" of the new balcony cabins on deck 6. Again, no big deal at all. We had wonderful views. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? -Normal GS size which is approx 2 times the size of a regular cabin balcony. Was wind a problem? - No If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A Any specific problems with this cabin? -No problems at all. Any other comments? - All the GS has gotten new upholstery, curtains, flat screen tv, IPad and docking station for I phone during the last dry dock. The bathrooms did not get an upgrade. The bathroom is still very comfortable but thought it strange Royal hadn't changed the cracked sink. __________________ Edited June 15, 2013 by I-Cruiser

One deck up from the Promenade and right above Sorrento's.
