Intercontinental Miami Hotel Questions

How long do you intend to park? And will it also be while cruising?

If the room is not yet ready for you, you can give a cell phone number and they will call when one is. They will also store your bags while you are waiting. Then you can walk over to Bayside Mall for a bite to eat or drink and just relax. Or stay on the hotel grounds. Up to you.

We used the public parking for short term directly infront of the hotel, however I do not know if there is any other public overnight parking. We could not check in early as there was no rooms ready, however they did hold our luggage while we walked around downtown. The hotel was wonderful and the view the next morning of the ships in port was the best!

This hotel has parking lots nearby so we can park our car for less $$$ than the $34 that the hotel is charging for valet??

Any experiences with this hotel doing early-check in?

You may want to call the hotel and ask to speak with the concierge or the bellhop area to see what they say about parking.

We have stayed at the IC on pre and post cruise nights. Each time we were allowed to check in very early; approximately 10AM the last time.

Outside parking is in metered spots infront of the hotel entrance. It always seems full. If there are nearby Parking Garages, you would need to find out where they are and how much per day is charged.

We stayed at the IC a couple of years ago. It is a great hotel! We were able to leave our bags at the front desk, grab a bite to eat and by the time we got back to the hotel our room was ready. I think it was around 1:00... Also, we were able to get a parking spot right outside of the hotel. It was during the weekend so I don't think we had to pay.
