One person with 2 btls of wine...

We are sailing out of port canaveral. In the past, my husband has dropped me off and then he parks our car at the port. I usually go through security and then meet him at the check-in area. We have a wine carrier that carries two bottles of wine. If I go through the security area with the two bottles, will they let me through or will I have to wait for my husband so that he can hold one bottle and I can hold the other?

I dont think anyone here can tell you yes or no, it depends on the port and how fast you can talk your way thru.

 

They are not supposed to allow you to as you know ... but that doesnt mean for sure you cant.

We always put the two bottles in one carryon and haven't had any problems but most of the time my husband is just behind me. The last time we were separated but still didn't have a problem but that's not to say it won't be in the future.

I would not say a thing unless they ask. If they ask, you can just tell them hubby is parking the car. What's the worst thing that could happen? You end up waiting for him to go through security with you.
