flying from manchester (UK) to vegas nonstop before going on cruise

how long does it take, we thought about 9 hours

The shortest flights (no non-stops) were 13 1/2 hours (including changing planes). Many flights were 18 hours.

To give you an idea of the flight times, the BA non-stop LHR to default Vegas has a scheduled time of 10 hour 40 minutes

Not seeing any non stops but shortest BA 11:55, almost 12 hours

Just did a quick google search on flight miles and time.

 

UK to JFK is 5540 km. JFK to LAS is another 3600 km.

 

Flying from the UK, you're only 60% of the way there (from JFK) if going on to Vegas.

If you look up your flight online, it will usually tell you the actual flight time (not including any stops or layovers). That's the most important criteria (for me) in booking a flight! I want the shortest possible!
