NorthCarolinaBelle Posted August 23, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2010 Pumbaamd, Was there smoking during the Diamond Event? We love the Viking Crown, but on some ships, it's been too smoky for our allergies. Thanks for you help!
kc320 Posted August 23, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 23, 2010 There was a smoking section for the Diamond/+ Event in April when I was on Majesty, but there didn't seem to be a lot of smokers, so it wasn't a problem for us.. ymmv...
yogimax Posted August 23, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 23, 2010 Pumbaamd, Was there smoking during the Diamond Event? We love the Viking Crown, but on some ships, it's been too smoky for our allergies. Thanks for you help! We've been on two Majesty cruises and the Diamond Event was held in the Viking Crown Lounge. Most of the time we were the only ones there. The Lounge is divided into smoking an non-smoking sections and the Event was held in the non-smoking section. Aquahound Posted August 23, 2010 #6 Share Posted August 23, 2010 The entire forward-facing portion of the Viking Crown is roped off for the nightly event. The smoking area of the Viking Crown is on the starboard (right) side....out of the roped off area. There were never any smokers up there during the event this past weekend, but if there are, they are easily avoided by sitting around near the port side.
