driving time to Montserrat

We toured the Monestary and then did take the funicular/cable car up to the top of the mountain where, if the weather is clear, there are some gorgeous views. There are also a number of walking trails in the area for walkers, but with three hours you will be limited to the Monestary and funicular. As to whether its "worth it" we think that is simply one of those personal decisions. Once you are there and see the setting you will know if its for you.

Its bt 45 mins each way but be aware of traffic delays! also try to go up the back side of the mountian and down the front on your way out.We did a private tour and it was interesting that way to see the different views. Youll have plenty of time up there but dont go during rush hour- we went in the morning and it was perfect!!

The most crowded day is Sunday. All the locals go then.
