Recomendations of Oosterdam VA Aft Cabins

Duck Duck Cruise

Recommended Posts

We are planning a cruise on the Oosterdam and are interested in booking a VA aft cabin. We would prefer either a partially covered veranda or fully covered veranda. Of course, the larger the veranda the better.

We aren't going to afford a SB corner aft suite like we did in Alaska on the Zuiderdam last year but are looking for the "best" VA aft for our next cruise. Your experience is appreciated. If you have stayed in one of these cabins previously, we would like to hear your thoughts.

Thanks!

I was in 8138 in June (paid for an HH - got an offer for a balcony for $198 more - this is what I got!!). It was directly below the Seaview pool with a half covered balcony. Being just right there at the Lido was great - the soot on the balcony, not so much. Deck of the balcony was filthy with soot the entire week - furniture not too clean either.
