No. Can only be used if you book your air independently. When you book "cruise air", you are booking "bulk air", which is a whole different thing, unless you pay for "custom" air.

Ain't going to happen. As posted previously, the tickets from cruise air are consolidator class tickets-99% non upgradeable. You may have a special exception but I doubt it.

You know what they are going to say-XXX dollars over and above the cruise line air price. But as you also realize, VERY few of the cruise line ticket are upgradable.

 

And SPECIFICALLY NOT upgradable with HOTEL points.

Highly unlikely, for the reasons listed. The only way you can use miles is to use your cruise line's Customized Air option, which basically means that you might as well just book your flights on your own because you will be paying market price anyway.

As most people have said you won't be able to upgrade. This is the reality of the ticket that has been purchased. You can call the airline if you like but the answer will be the same as you have been told already.

Here's the 1% exception: All American Airlines fares to Europe except military fares can be upgraded. There are no upgrade restrictions on American Airlines consolidator fares except to Latin America.

 

To upgrade it is 25,000 AAdvantage miles and a $350 copay each way.
