salty dingo Posted September 19, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2010 If you mean the menu in the MDR, then it would almost certainly be whichever costs the least.

Loyal Buckeye Posted September 19, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 19, 2010 We just got off the Fascination yesterday (BooHoo--I miss it already!). I am not sure whether the salmon was farm or wild but I have to say it was the best piece of salmon I have ever had! It was really good. Not at all fishy tasting. I thought it was the best meal that I had. They can keep the flat iron steak. I did not like it at all but the salmon was very good.
bumbles Posted September 19, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 19, 2010 Yes, as others have said, it is the light pink color - it is farmed. But as Buckeye said, every time I've had it, it's been very good.

I usually love salmon, but what i had in the MDR on the Liberty last spring was a real disappointment, very blah.:( Most of the food was pretty good, but not the salmon Super markets list it as Atlantic or Pacific... Atlantic is farmed (especially on the west coast... rule of thumb) and Pacific is fresh... also note that there are different types of Pacific salmon.. and this can affect the taste and colour. Pink (salmon) is a light pink where as sockeye is red.. Both are local but Sockeye melts in your mouth :D
