Free Pull Slot Machine - Has anyone EVER won??

Of all the BAD pr moves... this one takes the cake. They took away the "free" money and replaced it with worthless key chains. I "won" several of those embarrassing key chains and nothing else. RCI looks as cheap as their "prizes". This is a perk for loyalty and I see what they think of it.

HEY RCI.... don't ya think you could at least move the prizes up a bit for the loyalty?

I feel better now, rant over.....

How was your most recent Monarch cruise? We are leaving Friday!!

Did they have the slot pull on that sailing?

We were on the Monarch from Sept 10 to 17th...So we went to the casino on thursday morning..We had I think a total of 10 pulls.

Woo hoo we hit the jackpot

8 key rings out of 10 pulls.

We gave them all away to friends onboard.

thus we came home with nothing

On our last night on a 8 day Jewell cruise my wife insisted we go and use the free pulls in the casino. I got the coins and she immediately put one coin in and pushed. I tried to stop her because I wanted to look everything over but it was to late. She won two hundred dollars and the coins clinked into the little bucket and she was so excited. I immediately took the bucket to the cash out window and got two one hundred dollar bills and after the second free coin was put into the slot to no avial we departed with a big smile on our faces.

Wow that is interesting. I thought you had to put in 3 at a time in order for it too spin,,,,and,,,,the payout was in ticket form:confused:

Congrats on your winnings:D

I think this poster was on the ship in 2006, and they changed things in 2008 or 2009.

Yeah, it would be great to win a few bucks, huh? :D

My DH and I had the free spin tickets in our coupon books and "won" five more during the week in the coin game where you drop quarters in hope of having quarters, bills or free spin tickets drop into a tray. For our seven spins we won... Nothing! We did watch a guy in front of us in line who won six cents :)

BTW, a big thank you to the OP who posted a question about those quarter machines about a month ago. I would not have looked at them twice if I hadn't read the post and become curious. We had great fun playing throughout the week and enjoyed having a fifty dollar bill and two twenties drop the last night. Very entertaining.
