Dessert - Chops

Does anyone know what desserts are offered at Chops? Saw the menu posted -but no desserts were listed.

We split some sort of chocolate conncoction...no way could we have eaten a whole dessert after the meal!!! I can't remember what it was...but it WAS good!

Apple pie a'la mode

and I think a passion fruit dessert.

 

The mud pie is rich not icecream like some expect. Very YUMMY!!!! :p

Yes the chocolate mud pie is amazing, there is a friendly rivalry between Chops and Portifino's as to who has the best desserts! I think more sampling is in order before I vote....

The Mud Pie is roll around in delicious, and the cheesecake can bring you to tears. After a wonderful meal at Chops, there is no way to order AND finish dessert, so we ask for ours to go. We have, in the past, requested more than just the 2 servings of dessert to take back to the cabin for a late night/early morning snack...and the server has given us each an extra slice, but don't tell anyone OK?

Yes, they will put it on a plate with a cover for you to take back and put in your "cooler", AKA refrigerator.

Makes for a great breakfast on your balcony the next morning!:D

DO eat it by the next day. That refrigerator does NOT get cold enough to keep food fresh.

I read about the cheesecake being quite bad, not enough cheese, perhaps they were referring to the MDR? Was your cheesecake like a New York cheesecake, dense, or creamy?

 

I could eat 4 slices of dessert myself :D

Oh my goodness I didn't know you could do that!! I was so full from dinner there that I couldn't finish the Mud Pie. It was so gooooood. Thanks for the idea, that will be our plan next time ;)
