shower chairs

Im taking my mom on the fascination in nov. she has issues standing for more then 5-6 mins at a time. Ive already got her a wheelchair and a moddified room. But was wondering about a shower chair. Does anyone know if they have any on board or do I need to rent one?

I would contact special needs ASAP as it is first come first serve and you may not be able to get one if you wait. Or after 1:30 when can access cabin talk to your steward right away.

I know my father has had a HC accessible room (before we knew it was an accessible room) and it did have the shower chair in the shower up against the wall that you could pull down... I am not sure if all HC cabins have these best to check...

If you already have a HC cabin, it will come with a pull down shower chair, no need to order one.

 

The ones you order are only if you do NOT have a HC cabin, we have ordered them a few times.

My mom needed one for our Glory cruise. I contacted Special Guest Services, filled out the sheet, faxed it back. It was waiting in our cabin shower when we got there. (regular balcony cabin - not HC) We also got an "elevated" toilet seat for her, again supplied by Carnival. (she needed the handrails to hoist herself up - stroke survivor)
