Labadee Zip Line / Beach

Can anyone tell me if where you "land" from the zip line is a good beach area?

 

After the Zip Line we just plan on laying around on the beach but I'm not sure where to go.

Labadee isn't so large that you won't pass several beach areas on the way to the zipline...and when you've finished zipping, you can easily find an area to suit you!

We sat right in front of the zip line on the beach a week ago today. Oh to be there now. Old coral and rocks if you walk straight out, but down the beach there is sandy bottom or you can walk to the other side to a cove , about 300 yards for nice swimming with sandy bottoms.

We booked the zip line about one month before we boarded the cruise, and were able to pick the second available slot.'Upon arriving on the Island they included us with the first training group and off we went. This way we were able to enjoy all other activities and not have to break away during the day.

The whole event takes about 90 min.

 

This is how we did it when we did the Mariner of the Seas two years ago.

90 minutes! What takes 90 minutes? The ride itself looks like it takes all of a couple minutes.

Well, upon arriving on the island, you check in with about 30 other people.

You hear the rules.

You watch a small video.

You get your gear.

You walk to the practice area.

Put on your gear as well as about 30 other people.

You line up and do a practice run, on the short course, did I say with about 30 other people.

After this you are shuttled via open air big trucks with seating space for about 9.

They have enough of these trucks so here you do not have to wait for 30 other people.

Through the secure gate, yes, guards with guns.

To the top of the hill. As you wait for about 30 other people.

Walk the plank, up to the loading area.

Get the rules again.

Hopefully all 30 people are paying attention.

Wait your turn to go down. Along with 30 other people.

Cool water in a sports jug on top with cups (From the island?????)

Zip having the time of your lives.
