paul929207 Posted November 29, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 29, 2010 I believe cruise lines have to give TSA the passenger manifest for cruises sailing from US ports 48 hours before sailing.

Atomica Posted November 29, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 29, 2010 Typically, most sailings sell out long before two days before sailing though - if you really want a particular voyage, leaving it to the last minute can result in no cruise at all. WeBeGone Posted November 29, 2010 #5 Share Posted November 29, 2010 Usually the only cabins left within 48 hours are the expensive suites. The least expensive cabins sell out first.
kywildcatfanone Posted November 29, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 29, 2010 How close to sail date do they stop selling cabins? I think it's around 48 hours. However, many cruises are sold out by this time, so it depends on other factors, time of year, itinerary, etc. We were on the Crown last week, and there were quite a few empty cabins, but that's usually not the case.
