What is your cruise ship hidden gem?

Howdy all!

What is your favorite cruise ship hidden gem? IE: A place on ship that if you don't know it exists then you are missing out! Maybe it is a public room that is hidden on some random deck. Maybe it is a cabin that is the same price but extra large or has a great view. Whatever the case, there are lots of hidden gems on cruise ships!

On the Pride of Hawaii we found the observation room for the bridge. You could go in and see all of the charts, where we were and where we were going, and they even had a large window into the bridge so you could see the crew at work! Not worth hours of fun, but still very interesting and a great find.

On the Liberty of the Seas the hidden gem was an upstairs game room that had lots of board and card games to play. Not much fun if you are alone, but I was there with about 15 family members and we spent hours in there hanging out. (Bananagrams anyone?)

What is your favorite cruise ship hidden gem?

On the NCL Gem, the deck behind the rock wall; it blocks the wind.

On the NCL Dawn, Impressions dining room but I don't think it's still there.

On RCI Majesty of the Seas there was never anybody in the Viking Crown Lounge on our sailing.

On the Norwegian Star the forward observation lounge, the Spinnaker. Always a quiet place to read during the day and contemplate the world passing by. Unfortunately NCL decided that was a waste of space on too few people, most of whom never popped for a drink from the bar. And the lounge was converted to high-end suites the last time the ship was dry-docked. Dagnabit!
