Will I be notified about which pier?

Hello all, and thank you for your quick replies to my never ending questions. Will I be notified by Princess Cruises at some point prior to our trip regarding which pier to go to in Port Everglades? I know we'll be on the Ruby, but was wondering about the pier. Thanks again for your replies.

I wasn't. When you enter the port, security will tell you.

Thank you very much for your quick reply. You have answered many of my questions that I've posted and have been a wealth of information! So, when we pull up in the shuttle or taxi, security will tell us where to be dropped off at? Is that how it works?

Yes, you have to stop for security as you enter the port. We had a rental car and they told us the terminal number and gave directions. The shuttle bus or taxi driver may know the pier number.

The ships are HUGE....your cab driver will find your ship, no problem! Just tell him/her which ship!

When you drive into Port Everglades there is a Giant message board at the Security checkpoint with the names of the ships in port and their pier. Also, lots of signs directing you to the pier.

Another tidbit of information when entering the pier via taxi, we had to show our id's to security at the entrance booth.
