Price drops

I'm just curious.......

Has anyone noticed price drops occuring moreso for certain categories than others? The rate I paid is still lower than what it is right now, but it's been sitting at this one price for quite a while. I didn't know if anyone has noticed getting price drops for Balcony's over Oceanview or Interior or vice versa.

what happens is-- they take all those guarantee people and start placing them in higher categories so they can sell the cheaper cabins a lot quicker then the expensive ones.

 

So the higer your categor-- the less chance youhave.

 

But you also want to be watching to see if carnival is offering free upgrades.

 

we have a category 8J and the sale is book a 8C and get upgraded to an 8J at a savings of 140pp so I jumped on it., woo hoo for me

I think the opposite of Serene, that the lower categories book up first, so if you have a 1A or 4A, or 6A etc .. the lower in the type of category, they sell out and you cant get OBC.

 

I have been on several where all my buddies in balconies were getting upgrades and OBC and I couldnt get anything because my category was sold out.
