Chihuahua-Mama Posted January 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2011 This is my first time traveling on NCL and I have been looking around the boards for an answer to my question. Which restraunts are included in the price? I see a lot of posts asking what the charges are for the upsell food, and thats good to know also, but I would really like to know where we can eat, and not pay extra, if so desired :) Thank-you in Advance ;)
cb at sea Posted January 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2011 The main dining room and buffet are included in your fare....any "specialty" restaurants are extra. If you are asked for your room key, you're about to be charged for something!
silkhair1 Posted January 8, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2011 Which ship are you thinking about? They all have different names of restaurants, but the main dining rooms are included and Blue Lagoon is. We really need to know the ship name to help a lot more! If you are asked for your room key, you're about to be charged for something! When we go into the main dining rooms, they ask for the room keys. Not sure why though. They do not charge for that! patseacruiser Posted January 8, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2011 The Epic didn't ask for room cards but did ask what cabin you were in at Taste and Manhattan Room which are both free main dining rooms. What ship are you on - helps us to tell you what is free and what is price of other venues.

If you are asked for your room key, you're about to be charged for something! No...some of the NCL ships have a system in place where room cards are swiped in the MDRs. It doesn't mean you're charged.
