Slot Pull: Questions on how to organize

I did a slot pull on the Grand in May and the people on my list were people from my M & G who indicated in advance that they were interested. I did have a couple of extra spaces on my list in case anyone at my M & G meeting decided to join us at the last minute. For me they needed to be apart of the M & G to make it easier to sent them my information.

 

BLESS Ann who has helped sooo many people to have a great Slot Pull.

Thank you Tom for the accolade. I just want to try to make it easy for people who agree on each cruise to run the Slot Pull.

And thanks also for the confirmation about people who jump in at the last minute. I have had people in the Casino who wanted to jump in and share in the profits and if they had no idea what Cruise Critic was all about, I did not let them into our Slot Pull.

Ann, thanks for the speedy reply. Any idea just how many slot pulls you have influenced? You and Tom (thanks Tom) brought up a good point, I do remember people in the casino trying to join our group, might just get unmanageable. We're cruising 10/20, can't wait! Thanks to you both! Pat

I am not sure how many people have received the spreadsheet and instructions. Guess I could go back through this thread and try to figure it out.

NO, fear that they would set the machine picked to not pay out well :eek:

YES, they help organize and supply trinkets and sometimes drinks :cool:

What is the opinion and experience of those who have coordinated slot pulls?

I have only told the Casino Manager what we were doing as soon as all of got into the casino and picked out a machine. Never once in about 7 times have they ever offered drinks or trinkets. I would rather win the money off the machine rather than having a free drinks. Would love to hear the experience of others.

Hi, just been reading up on slot pulls and trying to organise one on celebrity ship, would you mind if I ask you for copy of the spreadsheet as well, hope you not getting fed up of us asking over the last few years by the looks of it but you seem to be the only one with a spreadsheet
