Sailing out of FLL A747 but should we move to port side

Hi, we have extended balcony A747 for 10 day Emerald Southern Caribbean. YIPPIE. But, its starboard side. Would you give this cabin up for the port-side - no extended balcony. Sailing out of FLL is especially beautiful I know. I suppose we could go out on a public deck. Just gathering opinions. Thanks.

Yes it correct that the views are better from the port side of the ship when leaving Ft Lauderdale but once your at sea & different ports it really doesn't make all that much difference. If you're happy with the balcony location right now why give it up for just a one sailaway?

I agree with 1 Happy Cruiser. The sail away is not that big of a deal on a balcony (though I always do sail away from my balcony) I would stay with the cabin you are happiest with.

Like others, I wouldn't give up a great location for one sail-a-way. Just go to the Outrigger bar after muster and enjoy.:)

Keep the big balcony. Especially if you are cruising with friends that may stop over. the sailaway only lasts 1/2 hour. You'll use your balcony for the whole trip.

I'm with all the other folks - Keep it. And thanks I never knew about this room , though only Carib had X Balconys.

Extended balcony on Aloha deck...yummmmmm....no way I'd be swapping out just for sailaway. I agree - head for Outrigger or Skywalker's.

There are so many open, public areas, that it would be silly to change cabins for a 5 min. sailaway!
