Radiance class cabin question

What do you think of a balcony cabin on the 9th deck all the way forward? We need one with an inside across the hall, and the only ones that are available in this combo are in this area (ie: 9518).

Opinions please

I could do two E3's on deck 7 midship near the elevators for $300 more. (I know about the lifeboats sticking out a bit underneath.) But, I'd rather spend the extra $$$ on excursions since it's such a port intensive itinerary.

Do the balcony dividers open? And if we get connecting cabins instead of adjacent ones, where is the interior door - does it get in the way, or eliminate something else?

The balcony dividers do not open on the Radiance class.

As to the connecting door, it is on the wall opposite the beds - so you don't lose any furniture.

This is very helpful!!! Thanks so much!!!

Many years and several cruises ago we sailed many times in the first forward balcony cabins..We actually loved it and found there was really no problems..We had a perfect view and daily conversations with the Captain when he would be out on the flying bridge..However now we prefer the midship humps or the true afts..Stay where you are and enjoy !!!

We were just in 9500 on Brilliance (forwardmost balcony) and loved it. As has been said, we also had many conversations with the Captain from our balcony up to the flying bridge. Also was a very quiet spot.

One nice thing about having one forward like that is that you don't look down upon the lifeboat covers. We love being able to look straight down. That is much better to look at the flying fish, etc.

Those cabins are pretty near the elevators, which is also a good thing.
