1st night Seafood Buffet

Yes, we just got off the CB last Sunday and we enjoyed the seafood buffet on the first night of the cruise.

They had it also on the Crown in Dec 09 when we were on it. The unfortunate thing was that we had already eaten in the buffet before they brought out the seafood. No problem for us though, we just ate again ;)

Oh good glad to see this is still being done.

We ate in the dining room and then around 10pm said, well let's just see what was in the buffet and after checking it out, well, we ate again! LOL. Wonderful lobster claws I remember.

In the past 6 months we have been on the Grand and Coral. GEE, I never even bothered to check and see if they had it. I'll have to look up in my old Patters. I guess I thought they stopped them.

We went to the Buffet on the 1st night of our Island cruise and never saw any seafood. Must have gone to early

We were really upset over this on the first formal night we dressed and had a non eventful meal in the MDR. OUr friends opted to watch the football game and then they ate at the buffet....huge lobster claws.

So is this the usual fare for the first formal night...and what time is it usually set out there to eat? I gather it is not there all night, but for a certain time.
