What time can we board??????

We are leaving on the JOS on 7 Mar. The paperwork says embarkation is 2pm, can we board earlier or is that pretty set in stone???

Boarding usually starts around 11:30.

All paperwork for all the ships says boarding time 2pm. u can board as early as 11am. The last passengers will be getting off between 10-10:30 and they open up the lines to board around 11am.

The documents say boarding at 2pm in case there is a delay with the previous cruise. Almost always they start boarding sometime between 11 and 12pm, but they don't want people to get upset if that doesn't happen due to a delay with the previous cruise, hence the 2pm time in the boarding documents.

We always get to the ship around noon. But we are Emerald (soon to be Diamond - after the next cruise) and so we get priority check-in and boarding. This is one of the real benefits of Crown & Anchor membership. If I had to wait in the regular lines, I might wait until 2PM.

I am a platnium with Crown & Anchor; never had to wait more than 20 minutes to board any ship. Maybe I arrive at a good time.

Fog delays and Norovirus decontamination are the two biggies that will push boarding time back some.
