I am wondering what would be a good souvenir of Barcelona? What can one buy there and what kind of items are a good price/really unique to the area? Any ideas?

Items with the Parc Guell lizard and Barcelona soccer shirts seemed to be popular when we were there.

Books on Gaudi or Picasso would be good. I bought a little teapot in the Gaudi style last year. When you see the style, you will know how distinctive it is.

I buy small gold charms for my charm bracelet from every city we visit. Anyone have a recommendation of a store to look for a Barcelona charm?

We always try to get flags and in Barcelona we found a Catalunya flag (Barcelona does not really consider itself part of Spain :cool:).

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I especially like the Gaudi-inspired Teapot idea. When we were in London I bought a mini Harrod's Teapot that I treasure for it's quirky uniqueness!

I bought it at one of those little touristy gifts shops on Las Ramblas. Not on the median of the street, though. Saw things in the window and went inside.

It's one of my favorite souvenirs and not too big so it didn't take up much luggage space.
