Assigned dinning/Anytime dinning?

Just wondering if anyone has had assigned dinning and for whatever reason went to the Anytime or My time dinning room a couple of times. Did you have any problems going to the anytime dinning when having the assigned dinning time?

On some ships they check your cruise card to be sure you are in the right place. Others don't care.

It depends on the ship and its maitre d' and how strict he is at enforcing the rules. You may get a better response by asking on the specific cruise line's board. From what I've read on the Princess boards, maitre d's have generally become stricter since the last time we snuck into the anytime dining room, but some still don't enforce the rule.
