Port of Passau, Germany

How far is it from the Port of Passau to the Europa car rental agency? I assume I could take a taxi from the port to the agency.

I don't know where the car rental agency is, but since Uniworld has a walking tour straight off the ship (without any bus ride), I assume that the docking is very close to the tourist part of town.

Do you know far the port of Passau is to the train station?

It looks like the train station is quite close to the tourist area (Domplatz which is where St Stephan's Cathedral is).

If you look at the satellite version you can see the boats docked just north of the Domplatz.

Do you think it is a long walk from the train station in Passau to the dock? It doesn't appear that bad from the map link you posted?

The train station is within walking distance of the river. Anyway I wouldn´t suggest to walk with bags. It´s going downhill on uneven pavement/cobblestones.

We walked all around Passau and then walked to the station. There are also local bus routes throughout town that stop at the station.

 

Passau was delightful and I would have liked to spend more time there.
