Carnival Glory

Hello,

 

I am inquiring as to whether a Glory balcony cabin has a fridge in it? According to the Carnival website, it does but just looking for confirmation of that from someone that has actually been on the ship.

It's been a couple years since i've been on the Glory but I'm pretty sure I remember there being a fridge in the balcony cabin

Yep. Even the inside cabins have them on the Glory.

A very small one - fits soda/cans on shelves. Can't even fit a dinner plate in there! (wanted to store some chocolate cake- had to put it on a small plate)

Just got off the Glory in a balcony room. Yes they do. We had them empty it out so we could keep our soda, juice, etc. in there.

Yes, we very much enjoyed the cruise. We were on deck 7 in the aft. Room 7439(L-shaped with oversize balcony).

Do the fridges lock? My DS and his friend (both 14) will be in a cabin by themselves and I don't want to be surprised by a hefty bill at the end of the cruise from them drinking and eating everything in the fridge. I read that you can ask the steward to empty it, but that they just put it all up on the desk shelf and that would not deter these boys.

Yes, the cabin steward can lock / unlock the mini-bar for you.

Just came back from the Glory last week. I had balcony cabin 7435, and there was a mini-fridge.

Yes, the cabin steward can lock / unlock the mini-bar for you.

 

Every cruise that we've been on that had the mini-bar, they were locked when you board the ship. You had to ask to have them unlocked.
