but as i said -- i did check the op's itinerary -- they are on the statendam in march 2012 and hal's site does have them arriving at 6 pm and leaving at 4 am the next morning -- so i do not see how that tour could be offered on their itinerary

I was responding to your comment which seemed like a blanket statement,

Exactly. Thank you for all your input on this. There are some excursions, including Colonial Panama By Night and Miraflores Locks By Night, so we can still do something if we want. The Embera Indians would have been our first choice if it was available.
