Wrinkle Release Spray

Recommended Posts

It's possible to make your own wrinkle releaser with plain old water and a bit of fabric softener. For those who don't like the smell of Downey, pick a softener you like. One cup of water, one teaspoon softener, put in spray bottle that has a fine spray, shake....that's it and cheap too.:)

I make mine just like iheart does. Works wonderfully. For travel, I take an empty spray bottle and the fabric softener in a tiny tupperware container. Mix and spray. I don't think it last very long after it is mixed. Maybe a week, could be longer. Walmart has some tiny spray bottles, perfect for travel.

I have always just used a misting bottle of plain water. Spritz and smooth out. Wondering what is the point of adding fabric softener?

Makes it smell nice?

Maybe the softener softens the wrinkles so they fall out easier?

Good question though. There must be some reason since all the directions say to use it.
