Cheap European river cruises

I don't know much about European river cruises - except that there seem to be a lot of them with a lot of boats and they seem expensive. I do know that some here have been on them.

 

I read the Guardian (UK) newspaper - and saw these cruises advertised.

Are they cheaper than what we pay here ? Maybe the boats are second-rate??

Serenade 2 is 4 star superior - 2007.

 

Both are top quality at a cheaper price than we can buy here.

 

From memory, I think my Rivers of Holland cruise was a "Swiss something" charter and it was absolutely first class.

They're not sold here, so not cheaper or dearer. They're exclusively chartered to a UK travel group, so you'd need to book through them if you wanted to sail on them - but should be the same price if they allow it (some charters only cater to citizens of certain countries).
