Yes; one can send in information for multiple cruises. When I submitted my military info for this Sept's cruise, I included booking info for next year's cruise as well. According to my TA, I have military credit for both cruises.

 

Now all we need to get Princess to do is accept one military request & apply it to all future cruises; not require the info be resubmitted each cruise.

I emailed that suggestion to them & also asked during their recent webinar. Both replies said that they are working on implementing that improvement...one that's good for everyone. :D

Hi all,

I am very interest in this military discount. Does anyone know if Australians are included (or will be soon). My husband is a 20 year veteran, and we are cruising on Diamond in November! Any information would help!:)

 

For right now the new form that we are to use to request the military OBC only mentions the US and Canadian military. Have you contacted your TA to ask about this?

I couldn't survive without my online foreign language dictionary (http://www.wordreference.com/) because I only learned how to say mangia & the term that meant that I as a hardhead...testa dura. :p I've kept the Sitmar Italian phrases brochure since '88 & my TA born in Napoli has taught me some others.

 

I must apologize to others for getting off subject & will follow my own earlier advice to get back on subject. :o

I received a new Princess booking confirmation from my TA for the cruise booked with her.

 

If the cruises are still with Princess, they have emailed me new booking confirmations showing the OBC that has been applied to those cruises.

I wouldn't count on getting an email reply...it's about 50/50 for me. If you've booked directly with Princess, I've read that it will be available online in your Cruise Personalizer. For those of us who book with a TA, it's available to your TA who can add it to our booking confirmation.

We lived in Naples for three years and about all I can do is get a bathroom and a beer - sometimes I'm not sure which I'm going to get - but it doesn't usually matter! I can do that in 5 or 6 languages :-)

Thanks. I mailed my request to Princess the other day. If I haven’t received confirmation in a month I’ll call Princess and ask if the credit has been applied to my booking. If the credit has been applied I’ll call my TA and request an updated invoice.

I faxed requests for our October and November cruises and TA received confirmation email this morning. I also requested credits for cruises in April and May of 2012, and since those are still being held with Princess, I received the emails today too.

I'm impressed with the fast response by e-mail from Princess. I sent DH info by e-mail and received confirmation 15 minutes later. I had also sent an e-mail to our travel agent so he knew about the application and he responded the very next day with an updated invoice with the onboard credit. It is great having the application form on this thread.

I also emailed Princess and had a reply within 2 hours. My DH received a $250 OBC - very happy! Thank you to all on this thread as I would not have known about it otherwise.:D

It would be nice and less work for Princess if they would just include it in your Captain's Club profile. On the other hand it is a nice perque.

They've told me a couple of times that they're working on implementing that suggestion...great for them & for us! :D
