brandy4598 Posted April 24, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2011 I apologize if anyone has asked this before; but does anyone know of a place to eat lunch in Key West that serves gluten free foods? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

earn Posted January 18, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2012 Did the person who posted this ever visit Help Yourself? I have Coeliac (Celiac in US), and can't eat any Gluten. We are doing a TA, but spending about four nights in Key West pre-cruise. I will definately be visiting Help Yourself, but would really like to try some gluten free Conch Fritters and key Lime Pie. Is there anywhere that will do that? I assume the fritters have some kind of coating made fro flour, but maybe not. Also visiting Naples, so ideas for there would be equally welcome. It is a real pain, but cruise lines cater very well for me.

Alonzo's, the Half Shell and IIRC Bagatelle on Duval serves this. Ojk

keywester33 Posted March 1, 2012 #9 Share Posted March 1, 2012 One of the best place for Gluten free food is The Cafe on Fleming Street. Many good choices and good, fresh food.
cb at sea Posted March 11, 2012 #10 Share Posted March 11, 2012 All of the cruiselines do "gluten-free" pretty well nowaday...MANY more items to choose from!
scarlett81 Posted April 24, 2012 #11 Share Posted April 24, 2012 Old Town Mexico halfway up Duval St. on your left is great. I am also GF, and live in KW part time. They have alot of corn based foods or mexican salad style dishes, so as long as that agrees with you, go for it.
