Zaandam DD cabins 3380 or 3306

I am doing an Alaska cruise last week of June from Seward to Vancouver.

I have a choice of two DD cabins, 3380 and 3306. Just wondering which is better?

They are both partially obstructed cabins on lower promenade deck. Both port side.

Any input is appreciated! Thank you!

We stayed in DD3388 on the Rotterdam and really like the location. I had a quick look at the Zaandam and it looks to be similar for DD3380. I would take that over the lower number as you are more midship. In 3306 you are forward and could be more movement.

The closest I can come to photos and description are of a sister ship, Rotterdam http://joanjett2000.topcities.com/HAL/Rotterdam/Deck-3.html

Wish I could be of more help but....

Thank you all! Really appreciate the feedback and review. DD3380 it is then! :D

And that is a great database you built, Joanie. Very helpful! I will take cabin pictures and hope to contribute to it. :)

We had 3385 on the Amsterdam, which is the starboard equivalent to Zaandam's 3380. Both are below the main galley. All night long above our heads, about once an hour, it sounded like someone rolled around a heavy cart with flat spots on all wheels. They also dropped a few bowling balls. Better bring some earplugs just in case! :)
