Early arrival at CPH with Princess transfer

We arrive in CPH AT 7:25 AM and have a Princess transfer to the ship. Will they hold the luggage at the pier so we can go sightseeing? Is there a holding room for guests at the Frihaven terminal? Can we board that early if jet lagged? The ship departs at 6 pm.

You will probably board the ship at around 12:00 Noon.

After you arrive, Princess will probably not take you over there until they have a fair number of passengers who will also be taken there. It's possible they might take you to a hotel to wait. You may also want to post on the Princess Cruise Board to see if others who have done a similar itinerary can tell you their experience.

I have a similar situation. We are sailing on the Emerald 8/31/2011 and arrive at 7:15 am. I called Princess and they offered no help saying that they won't be accepting luggage until 12:25 and that shuttles won't start until then. They suggested a locker at the airport. We decided to go a day early and avoid the misery of hours in waiting at the port with jetlag.

Let me know how it goes.

  • 2 weeks later...

We did the baltics tour 2 yrs ago. We were picked up at the airport at 7:30am. Lots of Princess passengers arrive at that hour. They start loading the busses and take you on the aprox 30 min ride to the ship. Once at the ship we started lining up in the terminal with Elites and Platinum up front. There was coffee, juice and pastry while we waited a couple of hours. Probably started boarding around 11ish.
