Can someone tell me if I turn my FCC back in for a refund?

Recommended Posts

I never thought I'd stray, lol, but am eyeing an RCI sailing for our 2012 cruise as I'm getting tired of the constant delays on even finding out what Carnival is offering.

yes they are totally refundable, and I dont blame you, this waiting game is getting pathetic, LOL.... I have a feeling when they do make these announcements they wont be the wait...

My next 5 are on RCL, then back to Carnival for two more.

I go back and forth, which is why I dont understand the RCL put downs on this board or why people feel they need to be loyal. Its not like Carnival is loyal to you.

There are subtle differences that people never mention. My last two gtys on RCL I got a OV and then a PR cabin with a inside gty. this almost never happens on Carnival, let alone twice in a row. RCL also will allow you to call and change to a better cabin in the same category or less if you dont like the assignment .. try that with Carnival, they will say no. .. there is a subtle different in how bookings are treated on both lines. You just have to know the rules so to maximize the results on each line.

Well, as much as I enjoy Carnival, it's torking me off on principle that (IMO) they're doing this on purpose to create a buzz because they think everyone's just going to sit around and wait while they delay, delay, delay to build interest. RCI has their itineraries out through September of 2013 at this point. And I keep seeing how John Heald keeps raving about how it will "all be worth the wait"...well unless they're mixing up the itineraries to something other than the standard 5 or 6 routes they're doing or add some new ports, I highly doubt that.

I've been a loyal Carnival fan for years now and never thought I'd stray, but the fact that it seems Carnival is counting on that is getting under my skin at this point.

Fire- can you email me, using the link in my signature below? I have some questions about RCI.
