Sunscreen and Stingrays Question

cruisy-suzy

Recommended Posts

We will be in Grand Cayman in June and going to Stingray Sandbar and the Turtle Farm. I am curious if they allow you to use sunscreen, if not we'll need to take t-shirts to put over our suits when in the water.

Thanks!

Most of the boats allow you to use sun screen, but not the spray kind as too many users tend to miss their target and spray it all over the deck, which is already slippery. Either bring regular lotion or a stick, or apply your spray before you get onto the boat.

Good luck! :)

It never hurts to use an eco friendly sunscreen!!! :D

second that! meaning biodegradable or oil free! If you've evr wondered what makes the crystal clear water turn wavy and filmy, it's from the oil sheen of sun tan lotion!
