First time cruise advice for freedom

The Freedom is a great ship! There are a lot of activities and many eating places. So many that we didn't get to do everything on our 6 night cruise. I read many reviews saying the decor was awful and the ship very dark...I didn't find it that way at all...I had a great time on the Freedom, and while we like to go on different ships to try them out, we decided we'd like to go back on the Freedom to do all the stuff we didn't get to do the first time.

I would definitely recommend a balcony cabin too!

Bring binoculars.

Do research on your ports. A guidebook is a must to get the most from your time ashore.

Do only what interests you on the ship...you don't HAVE to do everything!

Remember, this is a vacation, not a marathon competition to see who can do the most 'stuff'!
