Europe 2013 - when do bookings open?

We are looking to book an RCCL Mediterranean cruise for September / October of 2013 to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Does anyone know when bookings will open up for that time period?

Roughly sometime in April of 2012 they should be out (give or take a month).

The release dates have traditionally been around late March into April, but in 2012 for 2013 sailings

Thanks - looks like we have about 9 months to think about it. We cruise again this November - so - I will purchase two of the future cruise certificates which should get us some OBC's and lower upfront costs.

Jan - congratulations on #40 - we were married on June 30 but it is just too hot and busy in Europe during July.....so we will go when the tourist season has wound down, kids back in school, cruise rates lower and cooler weather. We did the Med and Greek Isles B2B out of Venice in October of 2007 on the Splendour of the Seas.......everything was perfect cruise wise. The only glitch was that Air France went on strike - Charles De Gaulle was a mess - but we finally got to Venice about 8 hours late but it was worth it!!!

 

We will also look at Celebrity - like their smoking policy better and the new Solstice Class ships look great (never been on one....yet).

We're also looking at a spring or fall Med cruise in 2013 - will be looking at RCCL, Princess or Celebrity (we're past passengers on RCCL and Princess) - with a port-intensive, Italy based cruise. The cost of the airfares to Europe have been the stumbling blocks in the past, but we figured we'll have plenty of time to save up!

 

Does anyone have any particular recommendations - cost or otherwise - for one season over another? If spring, we'd go in April or May, and if the fall, September or October.

I popped into Thomson travel agents yest and they said prices will be released for sept 2013 by end next month :), I thought this was very early but celebrity already have there prices out for then xxx

We booked our RCI Jewel Northern Europe Baltic sail in Aug 2009 for the Aug 2010 sail date..and we were lucky to grab JS #1100..Glad we booked when we did as the price only went up up up..!!
