PRINCESS:

Con ~ not having a sofa or loveseat in a balcony cabin

Small ships on PRincess have loveseats in the balconies;) Don't blame the cruise line - blame the ship.

Same with immigration - that's a governmental responsibility, not a cruiseline or ship issue.

LOL- I agree....what I was trying to convey was that pretty much everything was perfect on our first cruise, which was with Princess.:D..the only thing to spoil this perfection was what happened ashore....

Princess- first cruise, so couldn't fault it/ worst- immigration at Fort Lauderdale.

Louis- stunning itinerary/ ancient, tiny ship.

NCL-loved the freedom/ selling scratch cards in the theatre...tacky.

Thomson...some of the best entertainment seen /ancient ships.

P&O- the best sea days' activities/ formal nights are very formal!

Our first cruise we left from Ft Lauderdale. It's the only time we waited outside. At least it was in February and was a nice day. Driving up we were on a dirt road or something. Odd.

Carnival Fave: The food, shows, 24 hour ice cream machine and activities.

Least Fave: Some of the more "cheesier activities" like the Hairy Chest contest and the Red, White and Blue teams. I'm still on the fence about the singing and dancing waiters in the dining rooms.
