Our SS suite is right by the elevators. Will it be noisy? Thanks.

Don't remember many complaints about noisy elevators on HAL. Actually this will make it a short walk for you. I guess unless you have noisy floormates it will be quiet. On HAL ships things quiet down at 11 pm anyway.

Noisy, most likely not. BUT, if yours is the first balcony from the GLASS elevator, your balcony will be very visible to those on the elevator.

LOL! Our tablemates on Zuiderdam had one of those balconies, and that's exactly what they said! they never commented on noise. Actually, when the elevator isn't next to your balcony, you get a bit more view than on most balconies along the side.

There isn't any noise from the elevators.

When the elevator actually stops on a deck where the balcony is -- the people standing right up by the glass window can see onto the balcony -- but not into the cabin.
