Back to back. Fort Lauderdale Dec 2nd

I have a call into travel agent to see if back to back cruise is a good deal. Anyone know what discounts would be. Also is this just too much cruising. First and Second voyages take us away twenty days during the holidays. Any advice

If you enjoy cruising than a back to back cruise is certainly not too much cruising.

We've done several long cruises over the years and have enjoyed each one.

Like anything else some people would not care to be on a ship for that long and others love it. We fall in the latter category.

We're booked on the B2B cruises. We did the same trip three years ago and enjoyed it. This is shorter than our last two trips so we are not concerned with the length. It is very port intensive which will make the time fly.

These cruises probably will not be full due to the time of year. The fares are already pretty low for Silversea, and there is an OBC and free air which will most likely not be offered if they reduce the fare more.

We received a 5% on board booking discount, a Venetian Society discount on the first cruise, a 5% discount for having over 100 days and a 5% discount for the B2B. We will only get the refund of "free air" for one cruise, one OBC of $500 and one Amex Platinum $300 OBC. We felt it was good value.

If they are the same ports of call then it can get a bit boring If they are different then it is great

We might take those days as "sea days"! But there's always something new to see or do if we are so inclined. When we were in Antigua for the umpteenth time last November, we went on a segway tour in the rain and had a blast.

I agree. One can go back to places that they absolutely enjoyed, seek out others that they didn't get to see, and also enjoy the ship if they don't care to revisit a particular port.
