Bringing Drinks On Board

It has recently been brought to my attention that RCCL is no longer allowing you to bring drinks on board (alcohol or otherwise). Is there a place you can go to see what the policy for all the cruise lines is with regard to bringing drinks on board?

You would need to look at the passage contract for each cruise line.

NCL and Carnival are the only lines I know that still let you bring on non-alcoholic drinks on board. There may be others, but those two I know do.

RCI does try to stop alcohol from being brought on , but they seem to be quite lax about sodas/water. The worst they'll do is hold it til the last night, as long as it's in the original container.

Princess allows soda, water, wine, champagne to be taken on board.

They will tell you only 2 bottles of wine/champers per person - however NO limit is specified in the cruise contract, and taking on a case of wine (6 bottles) has never been an issue.

We have NEVER had a problem taking "wine" aboard any ship that we've sailed on, including "Oasis" ! I'm only talking about when you board on your 1st. day. We don't hide it, I just wrap my bottles in towels & carry them in my beach bag. :)
