Suitcase storage on Eclipse

Hi everyone

Does anyone know how much space there is to store the cases? We are assuming we can stick them under the bed but don't want to bring too deep a case if it won't fit. Or how many would fit? Or is there anywhere else in the cabin they can go?

Thanks all,

Hi,

Plenty of space under the beds to store two large cases.

And if for any reason you cannot store it under the bed, your steward will take the cases and store them for you, bringing them back on the last night

We found the beds in on the Eclipse and other S class ships are a little higher off of the floor than other Celebrity ships we've been on so height is less of an issue. However, there is a large basket under the bed used for the life jackets which takes up some space. We usually travel with 4 cases in the caribbean so there wasn't enough space for all of them. Our cabin steward put one away for us someplace and returned it on packing day.

If you are taking an air line and they are with in their limits they should fit under the bed. Another option is if they are too deep just open them up to store them as they will then be 1/2 in depth.

That is exactly what we did on Oceana with our deep cases.

Thanks all. We do have a verandah room - how does that give extra storage?

No flight for us but clearly loads of room.

Getting slightly over excited now.......................

I think he meant you could store a suitcase on the veranda. Wouldn't recommend that due to salt spray. We had no problem getting 4 suitcases under the beds and, as others have stated, your cabin attendant will take care of a suitcase you can't find room for.

Have a great cruise!
