Did anyone tell Captain Johnny this?:D

 

I'm surprised since he's currently in rotation with Captain Claus on Anthem.

 

Gus left AN for the last time this past Saturday. He will do the early sailings, including "some" from BCN:):) and then he and Johnny will follow the regular rotation pattern.

 

That's the most recent update, as of this morning, but it hasn't changed for quite a while. I actually had this info confirmed by Johnny while I was on AL in BCN in June.

Glad to hear this. Capt Gus is a great person, extremely friendly, and well deserving of this. Looking forward to sailing with him on the Harmony.

There are always 2 Master per ship. For Harmony it will be Captain Johnny and Captain Gus. The rotation schedule is always subject to change per the Captains themselves.

He and Capt Gus may have planned for Capt Johnny to be the Master for the crossing, but it has nothing to do with who brings the ship out. Remember, HM is in service for approx 5 months before she has her crossing.

Captain Johnny said that he will be Captain of Harmony but not the first one. So this all fits perfectly, no confusion at all.

If Harmony is known surely Ovation also would be known to the captains concerned.

 

 

You can trust that Ovation is known as well but no one has communicated it to the public yet.

 

The schedule for Captains asigned to a ship delivery (ship yard and inaugural sailings) is not that flexible and will not be changed easily by the Captains themselfes because it is a special task and honor.

Silly Question. How long are the captains rotations again? Haven't cruised or worried about this in awhile. We will be on the Enchantment OTS on Sept 25, and it would appear we will have Captain Busto, is this correct?

 

No, now we know Capt Busto went to AD, you will have the new master, Capt Toni Tomlk. I will need the correct spelling of his last name.

Captain Charles Teige now disapeared from the list, so he might be the first candidate for a new position?

 

no, I don't know which one Capt Sindre is replacing. I was guessing that Capt Charles might go to AD but Capt Busto got AD. So now I'm thinking it was Capt Sverre Ryan who retired and I need to put Capt Charles back on VY. HOWEVER, Capt Charles has been on VY long enough to be assigned to another ship. And as you noted, maybe he took one of the fleet captain positions.

 

I know nothing....

Navigator update. I just spoke with Capt Aris who is still onboard. He will leave September 20.

 

 

ARCruisinNana do you know when Aris will be back? I was hoping to see him on our cruise on 11/10 but it looks like I will have to wait until our Christmas cruise on navigator instead.

Think he said, but I don't remember. This last rotation was 12 weeks. I know he said he would go back when it was based in FLL.
