Are Brits Harder to Please Than Yanks?

So very true - the Brits (typified by my mother) will smile and say everything is absolutely fine with her meal and then once out of the door do nothing but complain:rolleyes: I say 'why didn't you say anything inside the restaurant?' and she say something along the lines of 'I didn't want to make a fuss..'. So very British!

I was on Eclipse last year out of Southampton and if I heard 'It's not like this on P&O' again I thought I would scream. I did actually vow that I would never cruise out of Southampton again but I relented. Hopefully they have all gone home and told their P&O chums how ghastly Celebrity is that they will leave us well alone..;)

ps: my mother now only cruises on Saga - where they put the vegetables on 20 minutes before the meal is ready.....

So very British.

Did I miss something? 20 minutes to cook veggies? That would make

them mush:eek:

Makes a note, so long as my gnashers are functioning, I will not cruise on Saga
