anyone seen a last minute cruise mail recently?

I haven't seen one of these from Silversea in ages, despite being signed up for Venetian Value mailings. We're heading rapidly towards the piece of the year we blocked out to go away and have been hoping to pick something up last minute. Are Silversea still sending them out?

We have received two or three since returning from our first cruise. The most recent was in in early July.

We still haven't received our Venetian Society membership number yet - I hear it can take a while - so we haven't had any of the VS specific mailings.

Why not call Silversea and ask if there are any Venetian Society discount sailings for the period you want?

Thanks Duct Tape, hopefully in the very near cruise future we will be on the same Silversea sailing. We're booked with friends (Dusababy, et. al) on the Whisper fall foliage sailing

Montreal to NY next fall.

We are booked on that also, but next year. It is a very nice cruise. Be sure to eat lobster rolls in Nova Scotia.

Thank you Colonel. I really don't know why Silversea is so against sending those out to me, I must have signed up 40,000 times. Perhaps it's because I put my location as Singapore, I should lie.

 

Those are all now AFTER our going away window .. sigh .. shall watch the upcoming cruises and bug our TA when we're down to the last 2-3 weeks.

I've just received a 'Worldwide Suite Deals' mailing. It's cruise only, and includes sailings mostly at the back end of this year and early into next year. Very tempted by several of the cruises listed, but we're currently trying to finalise arrangements for our Christmas cruise, and anything a couple of months either side is going to be difficult to schedule because of business commitments.
